Project Overview
Delivered a technical risk and safety management engagement for a NSW-based client involving the proposed installation of a helipad facility. The project covered a review of operational documentation, alignment to relevant legislative requirements and guidance material, and the development of a structured risk assessment and action plan to support safe and compliant implementation.
The Challenge
The client was undertaking a helipad installation and needed certainty that the associated legislative obligations and safety requirements were covered. Existing operational documentation had not been developed with helipad-specific risks in mind, and the client wanted a clear, structured approach to demonstrate due diligence.
What We Delivered
Critical Risk Group conducted a technical risk assessment focused on the proposed helipad installation, reviewing existing operational documents and identifying gaps against applicable legislative requirements and industry guidance material. The scope included:; hazard identification; risk evaluation; and the development of a prioritised action plan with practical recommendations to address identified risks.
The Outcome
The client received a comprehensive risk assessment and action plan that gave them a structured approach to managing helipad-related risks. Operational documentation was aligned to relevant requirements, and the client was ready to proceed with the installation.
